Mentoring SA’s youth

Heartlines have launched their mentorship programme in Johannesburg on Wednesday. The new initiative is intended to empower men and woman with the skills to become effective and successful mentors to the youth of South Africa.

“Mentorship is vital for building a nation, and we need to focus on the youth to change South Africa,” said Buhle Dlamini, the founder and managing member of Young & Able Youth Advisory Services. “Empower the hearts, empower the heads, for good.”

Good values start with filming

Filming of the Heartlines television series Hopeville started in Waterval Boven in Mpumalanga this week.

Set to be screened over a six-week period on SABC 2 in late February 2009 the series continues the Heartlines' tradition of using television to tell stories that will get the nation talking, thinking and acting on good values.
