Kaelo - Stories of Hope launches

The Kaelo multimedia campaign on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), now entering its third year in South Africa, kicked off on Monday 9 July on SABC 2 at 18h00 with a 26-episode television series, Kaelo - Stories of Hope. Presented by Bontle Headbush-Mafuna, the series profiles three social responsibility projects each week, sharing the success stories of companies and communities working together to address a range of development needs.

Youth Development Month 2009: "Working together we can do more"

South Africa commemorates Youth Day today, marking the 33rd anniversary of the Soweto Uprising in 1976. To commemorate this occasion the South African government will be launching the National Youth Development Agency, on 16 June 2009 in Ekurhuleni.

FIFA Confed Cup affiliates carry 130 fans to SA

SA Tourism and Coca-Cola concluded a promotion last month in each of the FIFA Confederations Cup competing nations, with 130 people having won a trip to South Africa to attend the tournament.
