The Kaelo multimedia campaign on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), now entering its third year in South Africa, kicked off on Monday 9 July on SABC 2 at 18h00 with a 26-episode television series, Kaelo - Stories of Hope. South Africa commemorates Youth Day today, marking the 33rd anniversary of the Soweto Uprising in 1976. To commemorate this occasion the South African government will be launching the National Youth Development Agency, on 16 June 2009 in Ekurhuleni.
